The workshop staff told the reporter that the cathode materials currently produced are mainly supplied to leading battery enterprises at home and abroad. Now the factory includes 15 intelligent production workshops and more than 100 production lines, and the daily production capacity can reach more than 200 tons.
How can such a huge production line achieve "zero carbon"? "From the production of electricity to the emission of automobile exhaust, the company has made a big survey of carbon emissions." Wang Pengxiang, director of the comprehensive management department of Chengdu Ba Maw, said that after doing a good job in carbon emissions statistics and finding the source, concrete measures for energy conservation and emission reduction will be implemented.

Wang Pengxiang introduced that the company conducted a comprehensive investigation on the company’s greenhouse gases according to the requirements of ISO14064. According to the results of the investigation, the path to achieve the goal of "zero carbon" was divided into four aspects: improving energy efficiency, saving energy and reducing emissions, partially replacing environmentally-friendly raw materials, using clean energy and offsetting the purchase of green certificates.
"Technology and process innovation are the biggest challenges we face." Li Longqing, general manager of Chengdu Ba Maw, said that only by adopting advanced production technology and efficient energy-saving equipment, the production line has been redesigned and planned, can the output and quality be improved and the energy consumption and raw material loss be reduced.
In addition to production equipment, the enterprise has independently developed an intelligent manufacturing system, which can control the running status of the production line in real time in the monitoring center and monitor the energy consumption in a "one-stop" way to ensure that the energy consumption of production activities can be grasped in real time.
During the interview, the reporter noticed a detail. The air conditioner in the office was marked as "not lower than 26℃ in summer and not higher than 22℃ in winter".
"Air conditioning is only one aspect of energy saving. The factory is equipped with an energy recovery system to reuse the waste heat generated in the production process. We put energy saving and carbon reduction in many details." Li Longqing said frankly that compared with production, the energy consumption of daily office is relatively small, but he also hopes to gradually cultivate the awareness of energy saving and emission reduction for all employees from the details. The "zero-carbon" factory can not only enhance the image of the company, but also meet the low-carbon requirements of customers and investors and enhance its comprehensive competitiveness.
