The scorching sun "roasted" and the sweat "baptized" the Beijing railway police in the dog days.

CCTV News:At the end of July, Beijing ushered in the hottest "sauna day" since its arrival. Together with the high temperature, it is the peak of summer vacation. Facing the "baking inspection", the police of Beijing Railway Public Security Bureau fought against high temperature and hot summer, stuck to the front line and escorted the passengers safely.

Working with a dog, sweating like a pig, I am most worried about the dog’s "heatstroke".

At 2 pm on July 25th, the highest temperature outside Beijing Railway Station was 37℃, and the surface temperature was close to 60℃.

After several rounds of patrol in the morning, Guo Lei’s sweat-soaked police uniform was not dry, leaving patches of white marks in the sweat-alkali trap and small circle. After receiving the instruction to check the luggage without owner, he quickly walked to the back door of the police car and jumped down as soon as he opened the "black wolf". Quickly put the "black wolf" in "police dog" clothes, and Guo Lei took it to work again.

After careful inspection, there was no problem with the bag. After 20 minutes, Guo Lei led the "black wolf" back to the police car. As soon as I opened the door, the "black wolf" jumped into the kennel behind the car. Guo Lei to wipe sweat, hurriedly carefully checked the "black Wolf" the meat pad of the soles of the feet. "It’s too hot, and the stones on the upper floor of the square are burnt by the sun. We have to see if the police dog is burnt." Guo Lei said.

Guo Lei, 42, has been involved in public security work for 20 years, and has been working with the "Black Wolf" for 5 years. During the summer vacation every year, Guo Lei will take the "black wolf" to patrol the three major railway stations in Beijing, Beijing West and Beijing South.

Guo Lei said that it is the peak of summer vacation, and there are many passengers in the railway station, and there are also many cases where passengers lose their luggage in squares, security checkpoints, waiting rooms and other places. In this case, police dogs are generally required to conduct investigation first, and then the police will handle it. Often after a case is handled, Guo Lei is already sweating like a pig. And this kind of thing happens almost every day.

Not only that, during each patrol, Guo Lei has to stop constantly to answer questions for passengers who asked for directions in the past. From the east side to the west side of Beijing Railway Station Square and back again, people will feel suffocated by steaming. If they stop a little, police dogs will "jump".

Back in the police car, Guo Lei took out the eye drops he carried with him, because sweat often flowed into his eyes in hot weather, which was painful and uncomfortable. He was afraid of eye infection, so he would drop a few drops when he was free. Seeing that the "black wolf" drank all the water in the basin in front of him, Guo Lei quickly added it. It’s too hot to work long hours. Guo Lei is worried that his dog will suffer from heatstroke, so he takes care of it very carefully.

The scorching sun is still baking, and the hot air on the ground is constantly transpiration. Guo Lei and "Black Wolf" have to have more rest when they are free, and what awaits them will still be another busy work.

Plainclothes are grilled, and they are "tortured" in high temperature, and they will never stop swearing if they don’t catch "thieves"

"Start work. Action! " With the command of the master Yong Ge, Xiao Liu, who received the order, quickly approached from the other side. On July 20, in the waiting room on the second floor of Beijing South Railway Station, after three hours of tracking and guarding, "Liu", who was ready to escape from the scene after stealing the passenger’s mobile phone, was finally arrested and brought to justice by the mentoring.

Xiao Liu’s name is Liu Bodong. He joined the public security work in 2015 and has been doing anti-plagiarism work for two years.

Anti-pickpocketing is a plain-clothes attack. It requires boldness and prudence, but also endurance and perseverance to incarnate passengers, observe and arrest. High temperature "suffering" is the biggest test for Xiao Liu in the summer vacation.

At the entrance of the North Square of Beijing West Railway Station, Xiao Liu carried his schoolbag and followed the passengers in line slowly. Every time he reached the ticket gate, he withdrew from the team and came back to the back of the team. His head was scorching in the hot sun, and the schoolbag behind him was steaming like hot soup. "This kind of observation is essential. If we are eager to be cool, it may give illegal people an opportunity."

From the square to the waiting room, it is from "baking" to "steaming". The waiting room is crowded, noisy, hot and stuffy, and often the whole person is dizzy at the end of the day. To this end, Xiao Liu also carries cool oil with him. When he is uncomfortable, he puts a touch on his temple, which will make him more energetic.

At 8 o’clock in the evening, Xiao Liu took off his sweaty short sleeves in the rest room and put them on again. While eating a box lunch, Xiao Liu told reporters: "This is also a means of makeup investigation. A piece of clothing will be worn for a long time. Illegal people will recognize it." The reporter noticed that the part of Xiao Liu’s arm exposed to the sun had been tanned and red, but Xiao Liu smiled frankly: "Nothing, it will turn white after summer."

After dinner, it is not a rest. At night, the platform is dark, and passengers are easy to get sleepy. In order to prevent passengers’ money from being stolen, Xiao Liu and his colleagues have to go to the platform to protect passengers’ safety. On the platform, the train swept through the heat wave, and Xiao Liu disappeared into the vast number of passengers.

Patrol on duty, walk more than 30 thousand steps a day, and guard the "South Gate" of Beijing West Railway Station.

"One-meter-tall, with a touch of beautiful blue", you can always see such a figure in the South Square of Beijing West Railway Station. For a while, you will be reminded to take care of the elderly, children and luggage next to the passengers waiting in line, and then you will help the passengers who come to ask for help.

Her name is Wang Yuxia, and her colleagues call her "Daxia". Although Daxia has reached middle age, she still has her initial heart and enthusiasm when she works. "Handling cases is resolute, warm and gentle to passengers, and warm-hearted to colleagues." My colleagues who have worked with Daxia for many years say that she is a hero in everyone’s mind.

Get up at 5: 40 in the morning, prepare breakfast for the children who are in the third year of high school, and then clean up. Daxia set off for the police station of Beijing West Railway Station, where she works, and the day’s work kicked off.

At 8 o’clock, the sun was already dazzling. From the Nanyi ticket office on the east side of the South Square of Beijing West Railway Station to the Naner ticket office on the west side, passengers kept coming to ask for directions along the way, and Daxia took pains to point them out one by one. It took half an hour to stop and go, and at the end of the day, it took more than 30,000 steps. This is the case with duty patrol. Sitting in the duty room is not practical.

"It’s even more wasteful to patrol your legs on duty. Sometimes you talk to passengers more than you walk in one day." Daxia said jokingly. Indeed, the passengers in the square are noisy, so they have to answer questions loudly, and often their voices are hoarse after work.

At noon, the sun became more and more intense, and the steaming was so dense that I couldn’t open my eyes. Daxia’s police uniform also wore a close-fitting black short sleeve. Although it was hotter, Daxia said, "The short sleeves inside absorb sweat, so the police uniform looks cleaner."

Back in the duty room, Daxia took off her hat and rolled up her hair as wet as water. Colleagues have already called her lunch. In order to prevent the police from heatstroke, the institute also specially cooked mung bean soup. Daxia drank two mouthfuls. Before she had time to eat, the radio station rang again. Some children and parents were lost, so she put on her hat and picked up the radio station. Daxia went to work again. When we eat again, it’s already 3 pm. While eating, Daxia said: "Now it is the peak of summer vacation, and there are already many passengers. On Friday, there will be more passengers, and overtime has become a habit."

At 10 o’clock in the evening, a male passenger reported that his bag had gone through the security check and disappeared. Daxia immediately took the passenger to the security check after receiving the police. After work, Daxia found that someone had taken the wrong backpack, and then according to the personal belongings in the bag, Daxia found the passenger who had got on the bus and took the wrong bag, but he didn’t know it. It turned out that the man was going home to get married, because he was in a hurry to take the bus and didn’t pay attention to the wrong bag, which contained the wedding dress and ring.

It’s already early in the morning to send these two passengers away. On the way back to the duty room, Daxia said: "This kind of work is actually quite owed to my family, but wearing a police uniform and a police cap still requires a responsibility."

Sweating in the hot sun is the baptism of the initial heart; March against the scorching sun, and the golden shield will shine. "Stop the train safely, and the golden shield will protect you." Where there are trains, there are tens of millions of iron policemen fighting the high temperature and the hot summer, just for the direction of peace ahead of you. (correspondent Deng Youlin)
