The official media criticized, and the netizens vomited, and "Gentlemen of the East Eighth District" could not escape the three minefields.

The so-called "Gentlemen of the East Eighth District" won a lot of complaints from the whole network soon after its launch. There are countless problems such as suspended plot, shocking bridge and exaggerated people. Up to now, the douban score of this drama has dropped from 2.2 to 2.1, which is surprisingly low even in a group of low-scoring dramas.

In response to the constant tide of bad reviews on the Internet, People’s Daily showed its position and attitude. "The market can’t tolerate the reappearance of works that perfunctory the audience. As an audience, we don’t buy it."

There is unanimous support and recognition in the comment area, such as "2022 will still be this kind of drama", "When will it be taken off the shelves" and "If there is a problem with values, teenagers will be poisoned".

In the propaganda stage, the drama gave the slogan "Nothing But Thirty for Men", which directly filled the audience’s expectations. After all, Nothing But Thirty’s reputation is obvious to all, so it’s not too bad to have a sex version. However, the reality is far from the ideal, and Hans Zhang’s aesthetics are once again questioned.

It’s understandable that this drama is played by Hans Zhang on a whim, but people are seriously polishing the script and personally writing and producing it. "It takes 12 hours every day, and I took 23 hours on my first day in the crew."

However, after reading several episodes, I just want to say that there is no Jin Gangzuan, don’t take porcelain work, and grandiose, greasy and embarrassing scenes emerge one after another. I don’t blame the audience for giving this drama a bad review.

1. Artificial suspension is divorced from reality

From meteor rain’s Murong Yunhai, A Different Handsome Man’s Gao Yuanshu to Here comes Shanshan’s Feng Teng, Hans Zhang’s road to hegemony is gone forever, and he can’t step on the brakes for a long time.

The role of Tong Yu in this performance still can’t escape the stereotype of "master". With the high-knowledge title of "artificial intelligence engineer", the appearance looks gentle, but there are no less outrageous things to do. Pulling underwear belts and rubbing breasts at the dining table can be said to be extremely greasy. The audience can’t help asking, is it the need of the plot, or the actor’s fingers itch and can’t help but steal.

The plot that people can’t figure out is that taxis eat instant noodles. I don’t know if this arrangement is to highlight the hard work of migrant workers and show the hero’s hard-working spirit. However, as soon as I braked, the instant noodles fell on my clothes. In reality, if you encounter such a situation, the driver should have asked for compensation. In the play, the driver apologized to the children’s language. Who wouldn’t say anything outrageous?

There are also children’s good brothers, who seem to hang up in the play and get praise without blowing off dust. For example, Xiang Xiaofei, played by Jing Chao, as the store manager of luxury goods stores, usually works to safeguard rich women’s customers, and also meets his official match-Liu Shengnan, the female tyrant.

I entered the luxury store without blinking, and almost cleared the whole store in one minute. It happened that the female president also favored Xiaofei and proposed to him to live in the villa together. Such a suspended plot, it is estimated that only "Gentlemen of the East Eighth District" can be filmed.

2. Rotten stalks frequently plot shocking people.

As one of the leading actors, Hans Zhang shows what is "greasy" with strength. In the play, I didn’t see how much children’s language has done in my career. On the contrary, there are frequent "golden sentences", and I want to frown when I read it.

I was still talking with many (Sunny) in front, and suddenly I said, "Lie down for you, I’m ready to eat you." A good warm atmosphere was destroyed, and it was completely greasy, which was already embarrassing for Hans Zhang.

And the phrase "thin looks good, fat makes it easy", coupled with Hans Zhang’s fascinated smile, which audience can’t ignore it?

More shocking story is yet to come, holding a wedding to Xiaofei and Liu Shengnan. At the wedding, Xiaofei sat in a self-driving car developed by children’s language, and suddenly rushed out of a handlebar and crashed into Xiaofei.

After a few turns in the air, he knelt down to Xiaofei and finished the wedding unscathed. If this is true, it is the level that can be loaded into medical miracles.

Seeing Xiao Fei fall like this, no brothers went to the rescue, and they stayed in the same place as if they had nothing to do with themselves. It is hard to doubt that this is not a "plastic brotherhood." ……

III. Instilling values

I probably feel that the creation is not enjoyable, and a lot of "chicken soup for the soul" has been added in the play. Perhaps it’s the boss’s performance for a long time. Hans Zhang brought his own personnel into the play and took up the employees’ off-duty time on his own initiative. He euphemistically called it "Continue to conquer this project for two hours after work".

The plot is an extension of reality, and this scene is too similar to "We Beginners in the Workplace". At the beginning, in the variety show, Hans Zhang had left employees to discuss script creation after work for many times.

Looking back at the play, it is obvious that children’s language enjoys working overtime. The lines are full of literary flavor, and those who don’t know think that children’s words are improvising. Many words have spoken the audience’s mind: it’s the first time to see someone say overtime so fresh and refined.

There are also some incomprehensible philosophical views, which quite mean that "everyone is drunk and I wake up alone". The original intention of the screenwriter should be to express his feelings about life, but the lines read the taste of "youth pain literature".

Whether a TV series can be welcomed by the audience and recognized by the market is not necessarily related to the creation time. The key lies in whether the plot is in line with the reality and whether the acting skills can impress people, instead of grabbing the eye by being unconventional and challenging the audience’s aesthetic bottom line with rotten stalks and shocking bridges.

Creation is not a child’s play, nor is it behind closed doors. Only by experiencing life personally and thinking carefully can we give back to the audience with good works.
