During the daily investigation, the police of Shanmen Police Station of Pingyang County Public Security Bureau found that some people put traps in the wild.
After discovering the clue information, the local police station cooperated with the public security brigade and the forest public security to carry out further investigation and evidence collection. During the investigation, the police handling the case visited the villagers to find suspicious people who had recently gone up the mountain. After finding the clues, the police handling the case combined with data analysis and line tracking, and after layers of clues, it was finally locked that Qianmou in Gaobao Village, Huaixi Town was suspected of illegally hunting and killing precious and endangered wild animals.

After Qian arrived at the case, he refused to admit his illegal and criminal facts. The police patiently searched for evidence, found the real-time positioning of the remote associated hunting alarm in Qian’s mobile phone, and combined with other evidence, finally broke through Qian’s psychological defense.
After interrogation, the suspect Qian confessed that since 2019, he has been hunting in the wild with hunting tools and engaged in wildlife trafficking. In the process of obtaining evidence, the police seized 61 animal carcasses and carcasses at the suspect’s home, including 9 dead birds, 2 hunting remote controllers, 1 bird net, 1 bird catching iron frame, 4 built-in alarms in plastic bottles and 1 tape recorder.

The above-mentioned wild animals were identified by the judicial appraisal institute as red muntjac, Chinese bamboo rat, wild boar, mountain dove, bamboo chicken and other wild animals under national protection.
At present, Pingyang County Public Security Bureau has taken criminal compulsory measures against the suspect Qian, and the case is under further investigation. (End)
