It is estimated that it can be used by up to 2,500 people in a single day.

During the Olympic Games, the main press center will also be a place for the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Olympic Organizing Committee to hold press conferences. The main news center also has a large-scale saliva sample collection area for journalists to receive regular nucleic acid testing, which is ready for the opening of the Olympic Games in an epidemic situation. In addition, the main news center also has an area to introduce the post-earthquake reconstruction of the Great East Japan Earthquake. There is also an International Broadcasting Center (IBC) in the Tokyo International Exhibition Center.
