  Statistics from the Yangtze River Waterway Administration of the Ministry of Transport show that in the first three quarters of this year, the cargo throughput of the Yangtze River trunk ports was 2.82 billion tons, up 7.4% year-on-year; Container throughput was 19.32 million TEUs, up 7% year-on-year.

According to Liu Liang, director of the Changjiang Waterway Bureau of the Ministry of Transport, since the beginning of this year, the construction of three platforms, namely, the intelligent management platform, the comprehensive guarantee platform and the public service platform, has been continuously promoted, and the unified and open Yangtze River shipping market has been accelerated, and the modernization of Yangtze River shipping has been effective and deepened.

  In the Orchard Port of Liangjiang New Area in Chongqing, container ships slowly entered the port and parked in turn. In the first three quarters, the operational indicators of Guoyuan Port National Logistics Hub continued to improve, with cargo throughput of 20.442 million tons, up 9.8% year-on-year; The container volume was 758,000 TEUs, up 8.2% year-on-year.

  Downstream from the "golden waterway" of the Yangtze River, the international container terminal of Anhui Port Group Wuhu Co., Ltd., located in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, is a busy scene. In the first three quarters, the container throughput and bulk cargo throughput of Anhui Port Group Wuhu Co., Ltd. increased by 14.04% and 46.16% respectively.

  With the advancement of smart port construction, digital means and innovative collaboration further enhance the efficiency of port operations and release the transportation potential.

  "We have strengthened cooperation with Shanghai Yangshan Port, accelerated the construction of smart ports, innovated the new mode of route co-cabin management, and jointly built a green demonstration of river-sea combined transport. The planned punctuality rate of ships has increased to over 90%, and the loading rate has increased from 54% to over 85%.   The rapid development of new energy and other industries supports the growth of transportation data, and smooth logistics also provides guarantee for the transportation of related products.

  In recent years, Anhui has vigorously cultivated the automobile industry. Hefei Port and Wuhu Port, which belong to Anhui Port and Shipping Group Co., Ltd., have actively docked local automobile enterprises, vigorously developed the vehicle packing business in the port, and helped solve the automobile export logistics problems of automobile enterprises in the province through container transportation. In the first three quarters, Anhui Port and Shipping Group Co., Ltd. completed the transportation of 380,000 automobile containers, up about 160% year-on-year.

  As one of the largest ports in the Yangtze River, Nanjing Port is building a safe, efficient and economical transportation channel for new energy products. Nanjing Port, together with upstream and downstream enterprises, has jointly created a complete logistics solution for spare parts containers such as new energy vehicles and lithium batteries, which is "domestic port packing+shipping service+foreign unpacking and distribution" to help enterprises expand overseas markets. From January to October this year, the cargo throughput of Nanjing Port Group increased by 4.69% and the container throughput increased by 10.03%.

  In the first three quarters, multimodal transport, river-sea direct transport and other modes of transportation accelerated in the Yangtze River trunk line.
